Pumping out a L'edge Lite ride?

Post by Einar »

A friend has asked me to install a pump in her "new to her" L'edge Lite.

Can any one refer me to any images/posts of L'Edge pump set ups? I have installed pumps in royalex hulls (Tsunami 1200's) but working with plastic is new to me. What adhesive bonds best, if at all?

Thanks

I just strap it to my saddle. A small notch in the saddle keeps it from slipping. Or you can use contact adhesive to make a small corral gluing in mini cell so you can strap pump and or battery to the mini cell

I really like to install it in front of my onside knee, strapped to the saddle. No glue. Outlet preferred 90 degree. This set up gives a short hose so less water left in the boat. You naturally lean forward and towards your onside so water pools there. Glue a wedge of foam on top of pump if you are worried about it not staying flush to bottom.
