Truly new C-1 design! The Amoeba, designed by Larry Norman, built by John Kazimierczyk (www.millbrookboats.com) is really something different. I waited years for someone to make a boat like this! Blunt ends, high rocker, high volume in the middle, grooved playboat bottom. Roomy and comfortable. I just got it, and paddled it only once on the November Tohickon release with partial outfitting, but was duly impressed. I am 6 foot tall and weigh 170; my regular C-1 is (was?) a SuperD. My boat is the one in the Millbrook photos and is a heavy duty kevlar & glass layup. It weighs about 25 pounds.
