Pyranha Shiva

Just picked up a M Shiva and I am curious where people are placing there saddles? How many inches from the rear cockpit?

Thanks,
John

9" forward of the stern side of the cockpit rim works well for me at 175#

Thanks for the beta Bernie. I have mine set up at about 9 1/2 inches from rear cockpit (165lbs). Love this boat so far, got it on the East fork of the Lewis at about 3,000 cfs and it handled just how I wanted it to.

This boat floats REALLY high and lands very predictably off of big drops. Not the best boat for class 3ish whitewater but handles great so far in the bigger white stuff.

Where I live, there is a nearby river called The East Fork Lewis (I was on it today, embracing humility). When I read your post, I started jumping up and down in my chair, wondering who the unknown cboater in my backyard was. Then I saw your location. :D Oh well, that's what it's like out here. Cboaters are rare, and C1'rs are especially rare. Twice today, strangers asked me if I was from the Southeast. (I take that as a compliment).

Anyway, excuse the tangent. Please resume.
