fink skirts

Post by bearboater »

whats everybody running? Ive heard mountain surf made a custom onefor the fink, and maybe i heard a bit that robson themselves were making a skirt for it. just thinking what i should look into. i have heard of the kevlar reinforced skirts, and wasnt sure with the reasons of that, does a skirt need the extra support? being an open boater, i was questioning that. well thanks for the info.

Isaac, the kevlar reinforcement protects the skirt from abrasion.
I can't comment on the Robson skirt, never seen one, but the kevlar reinforced Mountain Surf is definitely bomb proof and absolutely bone dry, the best skirt I have ever had and seen. Highly recommended, but not cheap.
If money is a big issue, you could try to get a used skirt fron a Dagger Atom. That's what I initially used befor I got the MS skirt and it worked , despite the significantly different cokpit shape, very well.

I can strongly recommend the Mountain Surf skirt. It fits well on the Fink :D . Mountain Surf has this skirt dialed in.
