electric bilge pump kits
I am considering installing an electric bilge pump system in my 13' Recon. I do not want to collect the various parts and build it myself. I need advice on who sells the best kits at the best price. Any advice will be much appreciated. Keith

Re: electric bilge pump kits
I don't know that they are the best (I still run without a pump), but Esquif's kit retails for $262.
Feel free to contact me if you need help.
Cheers,
Eli

You can probably do better than $262.

I would definitely go with the T1200 pump.

get yourself a 500gpm tsunami pump from any sailboat shop, a small lead acid battery and charger, a switch that you seal up with aquaseal and you're all set.

Re: electric bilge pump kits
Thank you for your helpful hints. I have decided to put one together from individual components after all to try to save a few bucks. I had looked at the various kits but thought they were a bit pricey. thanks again,
