Any news from ALF?

Post by OC1er »

Thought about going this past weekend but levels weren't very inspiring...looks like the Tellico held low but runnable for the "race"?
Its not about the approach. Its about control in the hole.

We're expecting 14-18" of snow tomorrow - very much wish I could have made it. One of these years perhaps.

Images / stories would be great if anyone has time. Sounds like a great ALF so far, even if the levels are a bit low.

Today some of us paddled the Nanty with 73 degrees and sun. I took the Stinkeye/Blink and lots of folks tried it. Helen paddled my Lite L'Edge and wanted to buy it. Guess what, I didn't sell it. I am holding onto that sweet boat, and the Blink. Really enjoyed paddling with Tony B and crew, Katie, Helen, and some Canadians who headed over and tried the Blink too. :D

There was enough water (barely) in the Tellico for Sunday's race. Yesterday trips went on the Nolichucky and Section IV of the Chattooga, which both being larger rivers still have decent flows. Cheoah will be coming alive this weekend for the grande finale of ALF.
