Bilge pump for Prelude

Post by Guest »

I am looking for a hand bidge pump for my prelude. It needs to be around 15 inches tall. Anyone know of one that will work good and where I can get it. Thanks

In the for sale forum, Martin mentioned his electric bilge.

Do people have specs written out for the pumps/batteries that they've had success with? I understand it's not too expensive to throw in a pump, but I know nothing of pumps or batteries.

Thanks, will do.

I assume there's not much variation in the pumps that are used, but what about the types of batteries -- what are the options?

Sounds like the original poster is looking for a manual "hand" pump? Maybe like this one ?

I've got one that I've used in various boats, it's not all that effective in a bigger boat except to get the last little bit out (that the bailer misses). It does give my kids something to do. I've thought about making a mount for it and adding a hose for use in a smaller boat so it could be operated one handed.

Yes I am looking for a mannual pump. How tall is the one you have? If it is too tall it will stick up above my bags and be a problem. thanks
