Hello all, I am just getting into open boating and seeing if there are fellow paddlers in the Asheville area that want to go on some runs. I kayaked for years and after a long hiatus, I decided to teach myself to open boat. I found a Mohawk rodeo and jumped right into the Nanty (lol)! I hit the ledges a good bit to practice strokes and attainment. If anyone is interested in getting together for some runs, let me know.

If you are on FB we have a group- Midweek Paddlers (Asheville area) and Western Carolina Paddlers. Most of us use these 2 groups to set up trips.
