Kayak question

Yeah, I know this is the c-forum, but I thought y'all might let me slip one little k-question in. I'm spring cleaning and was going to throw the kayak seat from my favorite boat (forplay c-1) in the trash. It's never been used, bought the boat brand-new, took it home and tore that seat out of it. Never even thought about sitting in it, never been in a kayak, just tore it out. So here's the queston, what does a person do with one of these seats? Toss it, recycle it, something else? There's getting to be too many of these around here, need ot get rid of it.

If you ever intend to sell the boat I'd recomend keeping the yak outfitting. You'll quadruple your market if you have the yak stuff. I recently sold a boat to a guy who just wanted the c-1 outfitting. He was able to get what he wanted, convert the boat back to a yak & sell the boat.

If you're sure that you're going to keep the boat untill it is totally worn out post the yak outfitting on a board that yakers use & sell it.

I think at one point i have had 2 brand New Dagger Seats with outfitting, and Pyrhna Seat and now have a Liquidlogic seat with all the trimmings

I keep them so i can maybe sell the boat as a kayak, but usually end up hooking up yakers with outfitting and stuff, i tihnk i gave away almost all of it, the only thing i have right now is the LL stuff, and i have a buddy using the bean bag.

But this is what happens when your the only c1er in your paddling group, everyone comes to me if there kayak outfitting or seat is wacked out cause i usually have stuff sitting around!
