new c 1s for me
you guys have any experience with a WS y as a creeker, or a perception amp for a playboat. i've got both borrowed indefinitely, and am looking to get proficient. i can roll. the Y felt real forgiving in flat water ( we have a drought here in MO.) the amp will spank me no doubt. how do i learn the stalls and moves you playboaters do? thanks for all input. jet

I had an AMP for a while. At 190, I was too heavy for what I wanted it for. If you're lighter I think it would be a good all around boat. It surfed ok, but didn't carve as well as my Big EZ. I had to watch the bow to keep it from endering too.
If you want to learn squirts (the lead in to stalls) & other tricks I recomend the book 'Squirt Boating & Beyond" by Jim Snyder.

squirt book
Hmmm...yeah that book has some good information in it...if you can endure long enough to decipher his writing style. But the information is there - I just read it in small doses to try to glean the odd tip and it does wonders.
