Anyone paddling the Ottawa on July 4th?

Post by the great gonzo »

Is anyone from down south paddling the Ottawa on July 4th?
I am off that day but everyone else here in Canada seems to be back to work. If anyone from down south is up, let me know, maybe we can run the river together.

Martin,

We are 90% commited to heading south from Detroit, but that could change. I'd love to preview the Ottowa. Are you only free on Mon?

PM me again about freestyle clinic in Aug. Kate says they're staffed for teachin' C-1 playboating, so I think we just need to agree on some dates, and maybe find a 3rd. AND I have to convince myself that there's enough to do in the area with wife and dog to fill out a weeks vacation...

Hey MotorCity,
Haven't talked to ya in a while. I'm the former Harper Woods ghetto boy you met on the Huron. I think I was paddling a green MRC Fantasy that day. Any way, I'm heading to the Yough this weekend. It looks like there will be a release on the upper for the 4th. Where are you heading?
