I have a Super Ego and boy is it ever edgy! I don't know about the fuge but I would highly recommend you try before you but I am very happy with the Super Ego but a less edgy boat would be nice. However on a wave it is really loose!

I spent last year in an ultrafuge, and recently got to try an ego conversion on a local wave, I'm 175 lbs. The earlier posting makes a great point, either of these boats is a bit of a handfull to get downriver, as they are edgy. But for moderate river running and park+play, they're both great. Ultrafuge with longer ends is smoother for cartwheels and flatwheels, for me at least. Both are quite loose and fun on a wave, but the Ego is crazy loose for spinning. Possibly a bit more hull speed in the ultrafuge when running river, at least when those low volume ends are not buried.
If this is the style of boat you want, you won't got wrong with either one.
