CFS

I know someone who has a CFS as a yak. It resurfaces fast but sometimes he gets spun around and he ends up pointing upstream while running down stream.

CFS not a good C-1
by Courtney Caldwell
Last year I was looking at the CFS as a potential C-1 creek boat. Talked to a Dagger rep. who was manning a both at NOC. He said that the CFS did not make a good C-1. If the factory rep. says it's not good (loosing a potential sale) then I assume it's not good.

I have 2 Dagger Gradients, bought #2 when they went out of production. Great C1. Great creek boat. Says Dagger " the armoured car of creek boats " Might sell one.

huck
by Garrett
I talked to a rep at liquidlogic (which has 5 team c-1 paddlers!) and he said that the team c1'ers paddle hucks and love 'em! -in a creek boat just look for a flat/planning hull... which is not common in a displacement style hull... so very few creeking c-1's
but the dagger GTX has more volume than a huck and a planning hull... so... it just depends on what you are looking for...
