Bought a new open boat :)
The Dagger Ocoee sat on the racks here in Steamboat Springs, Co, all Summer. I knew they were asking $800. I sealed a deal for $500 and 2 payments and THEN told my wife, more like she asked me why I NEEDED the truck lol. Im a horrible liar so I was busted.
Justification. The boat will be here long after the scorn is gone. And it will make me happy :)
This boat is sweet too. It is the old daggger roylex lay up. Its not the thin crap you see on the later models just before they sold out to kayaking exclusively. I mean that stuff is so thin you can see it "wobble" when your surfing. Even has the "team Edge" saddle which for some reason I have always liked.
Thought Id share the good News !

P.S Whats it like poppin ends in an open boat?? lol

Tiggy,

Congrats on your purchase. I really liked mine. The late great Frankie H. continues to cast a long shadow over manufacturers with his creations. Try extra affection towards your significant. Explain that it's because of the new boat and you're so happy about it. As for endos in the Ocoee, it's good that you live in Steamboat and are used to thin air!

There is nothing like an open boat ender :D It's worth all of the bailing that goes along with those boats if you have a hole w' enough power to launch yourself :P
