Taureau vs Spanish Fly

I currently paddle a Nitro. Looking for a smaller boat for park n play/rodeo moves with my kayak buddies.
I've tried a CU Fly but found I was too heavy for the boat. Am interested in the Taureau, but the ends look to have pretty large volumes.
Would a Spanish Fly be better suited for this purpose.
By the way, my knees are too beat up for a C-1.
Any insight would be appreciated.

Get the Spanish Fly for park and play, the Taureau, although a great boat, has too much volume in the ends and would be hard to get vertical.

How about a Salsa? Don't know too much about the boat, but it sure looks fun.

Esquif is listing them on their website these days so it can't be too long until production models starting flowing or maybe they already are, not sure.

The Salso is, although on their website, as far as I know not yet in production.
It's a fun boat though, I had the opportunity to give a prototype a spin at last years Single Blade Symposium in Palmer Rapids, and although I didn't fit it properly, it was a blast at Hass Hole.
I don't think however that it's any bigger than a CU Fly, so I think that it's not really an option for bigger guys.

I have a Taureau, had a Fly, and paddled a CU FLy. For park and play I sure would agree- buy a Spanish Fly. I really like the Taureau for creeking and river running and surfing.

Hey Geoff,

MEC used to bring in the Spanish Fly. Mid Canada fibreglass might also be able to get one - they might be at the boat show. Used ones seem pretty thin on the ground around here but I think Paul Mason had one for sale recently.

Paul Mason's Spanish Fly is long gone, it sold within a few days after he posted it.

Thanks both Martyn and Martin. MEC can order them in, for +$1800!
I'm going to keep trying to find a used one, ya never know. I also said I wasn't going to get married again.
