Creekin for under 500$??

Post by Tiggy »

Gonna be a big water year here in Colorado :)
Need a Creekin boat, any suggestions.? Nope, cant afford a REAL C-1 so, need a convert...
200lbs, 6' tall, I still like the looks of the Dagger Nomad. :D

Sooo....My real question.... questions... :D

1.) Best way to get thigh-straps to hold. Ive seen a guy run an old paddle shaft under the bulkheads and attatch to that.

2.) Good Glue, NOT CONTACT CEMENT(Dont even type it!!!), to hold seat and pads down to a plastic kayak hull.

3.) How do you trim the ##@@$$$??

Thanks in advance.
I have outfitted numerous open boats, a couple C-1s, but that was with "factory" outfitting. Im looking to break away from the HEAVY Dagger console.

Also, If you have one set up, maybe we can trade, I have "Mr.Clean" set up C-1, with Dagger Console. It really is in good shape.

Here is what I did with my large Nomad.
It's a great boat.
