An interesting thought process start for me here (I have a pair of hand paddles) but I'd like to hear from others. Paul C.Do C boaters ever user handpaddles? (i.e. on your knees but "no stick") and if they do use hand paddles, do they only use 1 hand paddle? if so, what hand do they use it on?

Handpaddles
Wondering the same thing. Broke my paddle on Wilson Creek Saturday just below Razorback. Borrowed handpaddles for the last little bit. Sure can boof easy. Practiced a roll and it was easier than with my paddle. Thinking about a set as a backup paddle. What do others think? Hate to say but, I really liked them. Did have a problem with the trim as I was too far forward. Made the nose dive a bit and harder to hold a straight line.
Good news was it was my first creek with the Nomad 8.5 and I really liked the boat. Super stable and fast. Low low level for Wilson.
