I'm thinking of converting a Perception Mr. Clean to a purer state of paddleability. I'd love some feedback about whether anyone has paddled a Clean as c-1, and if anybody thinks it would be a great or horrible idea. I paddle Dagger Quake and I'm looking mostly for an ocean surfing and play spot boat that I can learn to do some of the tricks I can't manage so far in my open boat.
Any thoughts will be greatly appreciated!

A friend has one...

And he loves it. He throws that thing all over the place and seems very comfortable paddling it on the Ocoee and probably harder water. He says the Mr. Clean has all the benefits of the newer slicier models but it's a lot easier to land one for not much money. Good luck!

I switched from an Aftershock to a converted Clean this spring. It makes a great c1, just be aware of your edges, if not you'll be rolling! It seems faster than the aftershock to me. fun to surf and starting to play.

Hi
I´ve paddled one and it´s a very stable C1. And it surfs good(betterthan X for example) and wheels good.
Do it

worth trying!

Just a perfect surf-mashine that allows to do verticals equally well. Fast enough. MrClean is a good choice! I've got one, converted by myself and quite happy with it.
