Fife Brook section of the Deerfield

Post by ncdavid »

In early August I'll be vacationing in Vermont. If I made a little side trip down to the Deerfield, is there a good place to rent/borrow an OC1 and a paddle? I'm looking at Friday, 8/4 if someone wants to come join me, show me the river, loan me your gear.

Zoar Outdoor on Rt 2 in Charlemont, Ma used to do rentals. Probably still does.

I was talking to David before his trip and he said he has called Zoar and it sounds like they have a nice seletion of oc1s to rent

However- He said he had no paddling partners lined up yet- so I thought I'd repost this for him in his absence. If anyone can paddle Fri let me know-responding here- pm or call me at 704-604-6687 and I'll pass his cell # to you or your # to him.

You might be able to find some paddling partners for Fife in the forum here:
