Anyone boating the Hudson Gorge or the Fish July 1, 2?

Decked Canoes, Open Canoes, as long as they're canoes!

Anyone boating the Hudson Gorge or the Fish July 1, 2?

Post by Heidi »

A couple friends are headed over from MA for a run of the Gorge on Sunday, I'm planning on paddling with them and would like to get a couple more for a strong group.
Would also like to hook up with someone for a Saturday run either on the Gorge, the Fish if up, or whatever else.
Monday will be looking for paddling options.
Planning on joining the ADK bunch for a Gorge run and picnic on Tuesday.
Appreciated, Heidi

I probably won't join you for the boating, but let me know if you want help with shuttle - I should just be a short drive away.

Thanks for the offer Kenneth. Adam...one of these days...
Hudson is too big right now, wait and see mode, could be another Dryway weekend.

Stupid move from the morning news: Many area rivers are at flood stage. At 1 AM, three 20 yr olds, got the brilliant idea after pounding a few brews to put-on the Normanskill creek (which is cranking) on an inflatable mattress; no surprise they flipped. Search and rescue was set in place at 3 AM all made it out okay. They can't arrest them for stupidity, but are considering charges for underage drinking.
