Whilst goofing around in my Zephyr last week I was able to finally solve the mystery of the small amounts of water that were appearing in the boat for no apparent reason. I was paddling without airbags on a low water Saluda day, bow surfing a very small feature when I saw the water coming in from under my deck plate! An amazing amount was just flowing in! The water was not coming *over* the deck plate, but through the gap with the hull.

I squirted a bead of caulk in there and in the stern which ought to take care of that...
