Calendar is for sale!!!

Post by Sir Adam »

I'm VERY happy to present our first ever CBoats Calendar.

We received many great submissions, and it was a difficult choice picking out the best. There were some phenomenal water with less than ideal lighting (which certainly includes all shots of me and most of us in the Northeast  ), and some great image with less than ideal water. We tried to pick the best of the best - I hope you'll agree that not only do we have some skilled paddlers among us, but some very skilled photographers as well.

Thank you all who submitted images, and we look forward to putting together another calendar for 2008 if this one is well received (hopefully in time for Christmas this year  ).

Special thanks to Adk Sara for all her hard work color correcting the images and fitting them to CafePress specifications...unless you've dealt with CafePress, you'd be surprised to hear how slow and difficult it can be.

Congratualations to all who made the Calendar!

WOW :o Awesome shots EVERY month! I've ordered one for the boat shop & one for my Dad. When I told my wife that I was "Mr. May" ha ha ha, she wanted one for her office, so I got her one too. I can't wait for them to get here so that I can read all of the credits.

Don't forget about the sponsor stuff while you're ordering. I also picked up the '07 shirt.

Update

Post by Sir Adam »

A quick update, for those that are aware of the little issue that popped up today.

As you will see, where folks sent in whom the photographer was, it is listed. If you didn't send it in, it isn't listed. If anyone else has a photographer that want's to see their name on the image, let us know and we will update the calendar. We are re-uploading a few images tonight.

Thank you ALL who have purchased Calendars. I'm glad you're as excited about them as we are!!!

My calendars & shirt came in today :D The photos are nothing short of awesome!

It's a shame that January is over. That's a neat photo of Vanessa on Beaver Creek w/ more snow than I've seen in my whole life.

If you don't think that open boaters paddle big water, just check out Jonathan on Force Falls in April, Wendy & Anne on the Ottowa in July, Margaret on the Ocoee in September, Andy on the Kippawa in November, or Justin on the Payette in December.

Just so I don't leave out the C-1's, look out for the Bird Flew in June, & 2 C-1's, Shawn & Ellis sharing the wave at z-dam. There's just something about a red boat isn't there Michael?

I'm not even sure exactly where Slovenia is, but I want to go there so I can surf that wave. That is some pretty water.

AWESOME! Well done. THANK YOU very much for all the effort and time you put in making such a great calendar.

Mike,

if you'll make it to Europe, I'll show you the spot in Slovenia :D

Greetings from Germany,

Mr. August
