My experience has been that a heavily rockered boat with lots of buoyancy like the prelude is almost impossible to pin, but I would never recommend a bulkhead and strap system to anybody. Any such system should be an informed decision by the paddler themselves.

Cool! ....so an open canoe can't get pinned against a tree? or stuffed into a rock seive?? WoW! i'm going back to open canoe asap!
