New Wave C-1 squirt boat question

Post by Dave_M »

I bought a used New Wave C-1 squirt boat a few years ago. Can anyone give me some clues as to how to further identify this boat? I'm ~thinking~ of selling it but don't know what it is beyond what I've described here.

Thanks,

Dave

There should be a lable glassed in the cockpit, probably on the right front side? This should have the model, the layup, the cut(?), serial number, etc. They made the Acrobat, the Viper, and the Oxygen - there are pictures of all of these under "C1 Rec Boats" on this site.

Your best bet is to check out the images on the C1 Rec Boats pages Scott B mentioned, and look just in front of your right knee as you're in the boat (as he also mentioned). If the boat is an Edge or Aerobat (which New Wave may or may not have made) I'm interested in images if not the boat, in case you do decide to sell (thought I may be looking for an Acrobat as well, depending on what Mel decides to do with his...).

Thanks for the responses. I'll take a gander next time I'm communing with my boats. I'm one of a few people that don't own a digital camera (but I'm thinking of getting one) so pictures may not be forthcoming. I'll do my best.

I bought a new boat last night and just may need to clear out some of the boats I don't pay too much attention to.
