Word on Echo Paddles
What is the word on Echo paddles? Are they tough? Do you like them? any downfalls? I

Echo Paddles
I have one of the older Echo paddles, and it is a GREAT squirt paddle. I find the blade size a bit small for slalom or river running, but I believe Echo now makes the blades a bit bigger and that is no longer an issue.
It is a fine paddle if you take care of it, but (to me) doesn't feel as robust as a Mitchell (read heavy). That said, I've only used mine 20 times or so, and for deep, squirtable water (few / no rocks), so I don't really know how it would hold up to abuse.
It IS a beautiful paddle, though (perhaps moreso than the Mitchell).
