magnum 72 conversions???

Post by bearboater »

just curious if anybody out there in interland had converted one of these to a C-boat, looks like it has great lines, and it as wide as my slalom boat, with an interesting keel/slightly V-d hull, and then edges.

hey so I take this as no one has tried one, but here is the link:

just looking for what people would think of it, I havent tried one as a kayak, but a friend has, and he loves it. speculative words from creekers would be greatly appreciated.
thanks

i know a couple of guys that like em as kayaks, but the hull seems wierd to me...like two different boats stuck together in the middle.
i haven't looked closely, but i believe they are very narrow in the cockpit, so i don't think we could even fit in the opening.

it is a pretty interesting hull, the bow looks like it would work well, and not be too edgy, but then you have intense edges on the stern, it's 18.5 the website says, and I have sat in one as a yak, but didn't get a great sense for it as a Cboat, I am going to get in the yak later this week. and then try to give an opinion. larry are you pretty set on the burn for a river/creek boat?
thanks
