Where is the water?!?

Post by pdown2 »

I'm tired of the Chattooga, Nanty and Ocoee is there anything "flowing" in the Southeast......let me rephrase with gas at $3+ a gallon, is there anything worthwhile flowing in or near (>1 hour) Atlanta (DeKalb/Emory area)? If you say the Metro Hooch I will slap you. There has got to be some hidden gem out there, water quality is not a huge issue for me.

Slap some skateboards to the bottom of your boat and go find a nice hill maybe?

It's a little far from Atlanta, but for more local folk, the wave is in at Weldon. The power declaration has been posted & it looks like it'll be here all next week too :P I'm on graveyard next week, so I'll be paddling most afternoons :D

I don't think we can drive from Atlanta to the Pigeon in only 3 hours. Takes me over 3 to the Nanty.
