It almost here, the first ever ASCI Friday Night Fun Series Event!!

The Yough Paddling Club and Stonyboater.com present the:

June 29
Wavesport Freestyle

Cost: $10 for the night, $8 for ASCI season pass holder, $5 for Yough Paddling Club members and Series long registration (7 events) is $50.

Time: registration begins at 6:00 PM and contest starts at 7:30 PM

Are You the IR King (or Queen) of the River?

To joing Yough Paddling Club cost is $10 for individuals and $15 for families plus a commitment of at least 5 volunteer day per person for club events and trips (15 max for a family). More info will be available at the first Friday Night Fun Series Event.

I should also note that this is the venue for the 2007 USA Slalom Nationals. I am pretty sure it is the first weekend of August like the 4th or so. it's a one day event, and it's going to be awesome. I would love to hear how the Rodeo Events go/are going.

Wavesport rodeo is this Friday registration at 6 PM competion starts at 7:30 PM

If we get 4 OC1s and 4 C1 I can run two seperate classes. As a bonus if we get 4 OC1s, I willbe forces to put this skeeter in the water for the first time ever and see what happens (haven't paddled an OC1 since 1988). Just one more bonus for showing up with you canoe ;-)

Though I don't think many people know it yet, it'll also be the venue for the 2007 freestyle nationals (sept 28-2-weekend after gauleyfest). We're looking for 3 boats for a class for that, so I hope to see some OC-1s come out and play... I'll be there with what's left of the Blackfly after this summer and gauley...
