Armada Special Deals

Post by David Miller »

ALL:

Just as last year, I have procurred some blowout items from the local gear venders. Here's what I'll be bringing (please don't ask about colors I have no idea what I'll be getting)

1. Team USA Rash guards: $20.00
2. Rapidstyle Shorty paddling jackets: $20.00
3. Rapid style Polypro shorts: $30.00

All sizes will be large or extra large (sorry Sara and the other ladies)

4. Two C-2's free for whoever gets to me first. If there is more than two people who want these boats then we will auction them off with the winner promising to donate an amount equal to his/her bid to American Rivers. Conversely, if no one wants these boats, we will have all day to dream up a really great way to sacrifice them to the river gods. I'm counting on Jay to come up with the most perverse idea....Looking forward to seeing everyone on Saturday morning...DM

If you want any of this stuff, please bring cash, it will make my life a lot easier.....Thanks....DM

PS: Kalin, that means the green stuff not the funny colored stuff from up north!!! <grin>

BOATS:

FREE C-2's:
These will be great boats to practice your patching skills on!

They are both in fairly rough condition. Clearly passing the ugly test. I did not see any life threatening holes, but they have been patched in the past.

I do think with a little TLC, resin, cloth and a couple of cans of epoxy spray paint, they could be brought back to life.

If no one wants them it's up to Jay to figure out how we end their lives peacefully.......DM

FOR SALE C-2:
Whupatar C-2:
(Dickert/Holden design) built by Dagger, Color: Red: This boat was modified from a French boat called the Trophy: It was designed by Wayne Dickert and Horace Holden. Couple of patches but still a very solid raceable boat. $550.

PS: I'm not going to bring this boat unless someone is seriously interested The racks are filling up! please let me know.

Thanks DM
