I was only commenting on the 2yr life span. All the dints and impacts are proving too much for the royalex, I'm assured the old dagger ocoees used to last much longer. But those days are long gone I think.

maybe I should look at a zepher, but anything that is thrown down rocky rivers is not going to last too long.

My old prelude was toughter, but I was not a good enough paddler to keep it the right way up. My paddling only really got bettter when I switched to the ocoee. I don't think I've improved enough to now try again with a prelude.

So I'll get another ocoee. Its what I know I can paddle well.
