Mohawk Canoes - a clarification

Post by Sam »

Hello CBoats.net members,

There have been some recent issues regarding Mohawk Canoes which have understandably led to people expressing concern over the health of the business. I would like to make it clear that Mohawk Canoes is operating as a fully functioning business and is building and sending out canoes as normal. The issues concerning manufacturing are out of date by over half a year. The only other matter, now resolved, which has effected supply was the purchase of the sheets and extruded gunwale to make the boats which was held up by legal uncertainties.

While there are still ongoing issues customers should feel more than happy placing an order for a Mohawk canoe and in the company's ability to deliver a boat that meets the exacting standards associated with the name. All after sales will also be handled to the same requirements. In other words, there is nothing in the current state of the company that should concern customers who may have been misled by inaccurate comments made on these boards by a particular individual.

Boaters may have noticed that the website is live again and has undergone a facelift. All the contact information is now correct and incorrect statements about Royalex production have been removed. If anyone has any concerns or queries please post them to info@mohawkcanoes or call us on our telephone number.

Mohawk Canoes is pleased to continue to offer our highly regarded products to the boating community and looks forward to providing that community with the best possible service.

Regards,

Sam
