Tried out a pryanha sub 6 200 as C1 last weekend (the larger sub 6 from last year). Did a mix of river running and park and play. I`m 175lbs.
Found it quite slicy, much more than I expected. Solid primary stability, but easy to flatwheel and bowstall at my weight. Running rivers this is a typical spud boat, very slow, with fairly low volume ends. Definitely need to keep your weight centred over the boat, and leaning forward when punching through waves and holes helped prevent unwanted stern squirts.
Stable and fairly balanced in a hole, cartwheels quickly but not so fast that you don`t know what the hades is going on. On a wave, super loose like so many boats these days, and would likely have major pop in the right hands. In my hands I could see the potential, but don`t have the timing down to launch on purpose. Was not as fast on a wave as my tekno, but that gave more time to set up and react.
Outfitting: the cockpit rim upper lip sticks further into the boat than the rest of the cockpit rim. If I were to set one up permadently I would definitely look to pad this. Decently wide cockpit but not huge.
Overall I really liked it. The primary stability (it is nice and wide) was great, until one of the ends sliced under water. 20 lbs or more heavier than me would make this a difficult river runner. Overall fun fun fun! Something to consider in comparison with a liquid logic Pop and a Riot Tekno for sure.
tried another C1 playboat
