Spouse said yes, item sold.

Now he can do the HWY 7 runs with me in my Blast this spring ! Yeah ! and I need to get him a Splash...

Sure thing for the hand me down deal in a few years.
Hopefully we get to paddle together before that.

Have a good one and tks again !

I'd suggest having it sent directly to Kokatat rather than having it shipped to you and have them install a pair of gore-tex booties (womens small probably?) on it. Also have all the gaskets inspected. Probably won't cost much at all and will keep juniors feet nice and dry... I LOVE GORETEX BOOTIES and am amazed at how long I made it without them.

Congrat's... and that will be one beer!!!

My brains are in my A$$... not my feet Louigie.

Anytime you want to come up north for some ice-water-cold spring boating without goretex booties on your drysuit... you just let me know.

btw what is a dry suit and why is you other one wet? Bladder control problem? We do get cold down here sometimes we have to wear spray top (short sleve) and booties. Why did you drain the kiddy pool and where will the youngum go now? I bet there are some people from the LL goin thru the DT's about now. I bet that Decker guy is writtin e-mails to himself about now.

 I can tell you this... never eat too much good mexican food and drink too much beer the night before paddling in a drysuit with a tight neck gasket.

Ask Eli and David about the time they, Roy, Teal and myself went to the Wautauga in the blizzard at high water... that was the LAST time I paddled with that drysuit that didn't have booties. Lez' jus say that it took a good two hours to thaw the ten little nubs at the end of my feet.

Slight Hijack...

What are people's experiences with latex booties on drysuits? I was looking into getting one of the NRS kayak drysuits and they switched from fabric booties last year to latex this year...

Thanks

Aliesha my oldest who is now 13 ( 14 this summer ) did paddled with a Gul youth drysuit with latex feet two seasons ago..... she hated them...even cried! Both my girls are now paddling with the Kokatat Super Nova, they love them. They have the fabric bootie built in them. One thing with the Super Nova is, they don't have a latex neck gasket, but I now install them under the punch through.
