I know it depends on how many racers there are in a class so as to make it competitive, but I've seen it before, a 12 old girl racing against a 17 old boy. Or 12 girls racing against 30 year old women It just doesn't give the girl a whole lot of reasons to come back and compete again, after all we're trying to build the sport not turn the next generation away?
I'd even like to see youth / junoir MOC2, FOC2 & Mixed Junior OC2?
Some may say you won't have enough youth / junoirs to fill the classes......Since the introduction of the Splash we've seen huge increase of junior OC1 paddlers here in Ontario. Heck..... even MKC had to turn kids away last years as they had a full program.

Just to set the facts straight - that little incident at Chiefs on the Green did not involve me as a victim! I was one of the rescuers and the other was you (Louie). Poor guy couldn't follow my line and ended up in the undercut. We pulled him up throught the chimney. Saved him but not his boat.
Now about your arm. Get it fixed (proper like) and come back to Ontario. You have some unfinished business on the Ottawa - Yeah I mean the creek run!!!

I can't believe he was still upset about that little incident on the Green at Chief, I did pull him up out of the cave
