Dave

the plastic from the saddle will work great as a base point- I drill the plastice for the thigh straps closer to the crotch than dagger. I toss the foam though

If you opt not to use the dagger saddle pm me- I'd like to have one

Thanks, all my C1's have had factory outfitting so I've never had to convert myself. Will keep you in mind if I don't use it.

I just converted a mafia with a cascade seat and a bulkhead. i'll let you know how it works. tonight is the maiden voyage...at the pool to make sure i can get out of the snug outfitting and tiny cockpit.

Oops, look forward to hearing how it went. I'm thinking of getting a Jefe, Everest or Remix. Something beefy but with more rocker than the Cascade. BTW congrats on getting your roll!!! It beats bailing or dumping out.

I haven't torn one out yet, but can't imagine it weighing more than
5 lbs.

So I got the dagger seat already and now I am waiting only for the Remix 59! :D

Is the seat easy to adjust in the boat ? How did you do it ?

It seems that I have to adjust the seat very fast to be able to try my new boat on the Euro-Armada - so some tips would be appreciated much... Thanks a lot !

Cheers Frank

I'll chime in here, as I paddled Bill's Remix on Wilson Creek the other week. I didn't have any great impressions of it. It felt like a pretty solid creek boat. Any tippiness I felt was probably due to Bill's seat which, especially after my 4" slalom seat, felt like it must have been at least several stories high. The outfitting was also distinctly minimalist, though as a follower of Thoreau, I can't really argue. Again, felt like a fairly solid creek boat.
