Ohiopyle Over the Falls Race this weekend - Sat 8/23

Post by PAC »

Forecast and water level look great for this Saturday Aug 23. If you are coming to the event download the forms and bring them with you. We still need volunteers to help out.

Silent Auction: This year we have two boats in our Auction from Wave Sport and Dagger. You will get your choice among their lines of kayaks (for conversion) and order the boat directly from the company. We will also take bids via e-mail. Check out our web page for a sample of other items in our Silent Auction.

Ohiopyle Falls Access: We just received a letter from the Bureau Of State Parks that basically indicates that they will hold public meetings regarding private boater access for 2009. To read the letter, go to our Web site. We will keep you informed.

Stop by the Mountain Watershed Association booth if you make it and say hi. Oh and as of right now there looks to be more than one OC in that class. Come on folks lets get a C1 class and maybe a OC2 and C2 class happen'n!

WAAAAAA and I am merely driving by this weekend to visit girl friends folks in Pittsburg. I would be a heel if I asked them to drop me off and pick me up later right?

I'm going to plan to be there. C-1 long boat and short boat, if I can.

Martin:
Please bring the Ceemweaver. It would be an honor to get behind the wheel of that one.
And by the way, with today's Exchange rate that would be 9.40986 Canadians coming to the U.S.
