He needs to learn to place those scraps in trash bags and stuff them in his garage along with that OC!

I roughly sorted them and consolidated (creating two empty boxes) and found some big pieces I'd missed (enough for a pedestal). Took some old ethafoam plus some coroplast campaign signes and made an archery target. So proud of myself til I found a bag I'd overlooked! Anyone ever make a boat from minicell scraps?!

well actually yes.... a guy down south of here works at a Meriwether plant, where they make the stuff... he played around w/shaping one a couple years ago... need to ask how it turned out, he was going for a playboat ???

oh, about that 12 step program...

1 - convince wife that you need a new boat
2 - finding someone or time to bring back - that hard to find gem of a boat
3 - locating another pair of those bomber thigh straps

Scott, my basement looks the same way! Last year I went through and attempted to "consolidate" all the good minicell pieces. I meant to throw out all the useless pieces. I think I put them all in a special box . . . and you know, I don't think that box ever got thrown out . . .

Some cycles are just unbreakable.

Anybody ever justified buying a new boat just so that they could use up some of their minicell? Um, me neither . . .

All you really need to do is:

1) obtain one large cardboard box (three hundred cubic feet should do it minimally...);
2) place all of the minicell scraps in it;
3) label it "Pieces of Minicell too Small to Save"
4) and place it behind all of the more immediately-needed gear.

Box up all the foam and send it to me. I promise that my present similar stock will not be jealous.

Cut each of the scraps into 2" x 2" x 2" cubes and have your son contact-cement them together to make a bigger piece. This will not only give you a more usable size, your kid will have glued himself together so he can no longer get into trouble.
