Yep
HI Alden
I'll be there.Jo may be too, but that's unsure at the moment. LEW and Dave Nickerson also siad they'd be there. I'm going to be camping (with a bunch of 'yakers) at Singing Waters. Might run the Black Friday if I thnk the level is appropriate. Saturday we'll be doing the Middle from Singing Waters. Sunday, I'm thinking about the Bottom, but otherwise it'll be the Lower - I've been paddling big water recently but nothing really technical (Ottawa, Gatineau, Rouge) so I want to do something before I judge if I want to OC the Bottom - hence the plan to run the Black.
Where are you staying and what are your plans?

hmm, my plans so far include using one blade and avoiding most of the holes on the bottom section. large steaming pile of dog doo, you're right, i should look into the whole camping thing though. cant let the yakers plan that stuff out. theyd probably book us into two campgrounds or something needless like that. silly yakers . . .
well if you see a kid in a yellow micro c1, say hi

A group of us from the Toronto Area is thinking about coming down. Well probably ony get there either really late Friday or very early on Sunday. We'll probably run the Lower, the Bottom Moose sounds a bit over my head for now .
Do you guy's know where good camp grounds are in the area, maybe even give us some directions?
Thanks

Camping at Moosefest
Hi Martin
If you know the area it is possible to find "free" campsites in various places, especially if all you're looking to do is sleep in vehicles or maybe set a tent overnight and then remove it in the morning. There are various pull offs and other places this can be done and I've seen many do it over Moosefest and I've definitely done it other times. For me, I'm normally with a largish group from my club over Moosefest so we tend to bite the bullet and get a totally legit site where we know there'll be no hassles and we can leave our tents set up. If that's what you're looking for, then I recommend Singing Waters campground. They're a decent enough place, are reasonably priced and right beside the water (Middle put in is right there!). For more info see:

Hope this helps
