Anybody ever go to the USNWC?

I'm new to the open boating and was wondering if any of ya'll ever make it out to the whitewater park in Charlotte. It would be cool to paddle with somebody who can show me some techniques. I'm pretty good at ferrying and peeling out of eddy's, but i think my paddle form could use some help. Anyways shoot me an e-mail if so.

you'll see a few open boaters out there. the eddy's there are something else. a few of them have pretty strong upstream current. have fun and watch out for the foot rot!

Agreed there are always at least 3-4 OCs or Cs up there when I go. That last hole on the "big water" side [not the Olympic side, that one is unbelievable shallow] is a blast to get a beat down in......I mean play in if you have a clue.....which I don't.
