Best color for an open canoe?

voted red but primiary colors work for me - easier to fix. A metal flake would be cool but that tech is a few years off me thinks!

Oh and only the TGG can pull off the retro hat after it has so much quality film time in Fun Forever.

Mohawk teal......now if I could only find a couple gallons of this color to paint my River sniffing,boat hauling, 84 Mazda pickemup I,d be one happy boater.

Anyone can pull the retro hat look off, provided the boat is either glass or at least 10 years old and the stick is either wood or some old battle axe like a Norse...

Get red leave it in the sun for a few months, it will be pink. You don't think that is why Paul said.....no couldn't be, could it? I mean if that were true he would be in a Kayak wouldn't he ....don't you think?

Orange, Red and Yellow are the three best. They all show up well in pics.

Other color combos can look cool on the river but for some reason they don't look good on video or in pics. Black boats, white boats, other colors etc... seem like a good idea but you can't beat orange, red and yellow. That's my 2 cents.

No, pink is super stylish! At least if the paddler is a girl/woman
purple or dark red might be a choice, too

I mean - who ever had a pink canoe? would be rare, quite fashionable and it would work with my orange/red/black gear
