this post is related to the other post i did on solo/tandem. if you were going to set up a boat for dual duty, how would you outfit it? triple saddles make paddling options easy, but also make for a heavy boat. some of you may be familiar with the voyageur outfitting that mad river offers in the outrage series. has anyone ever used this in your open boats, & what were your feelings or observations about this type of outfitting? if it's stable & solid, it seems that it could provide a lot of flexibility for number of paddlers, trim, etc.

Hi, I am not familiar with this outfitting myself, but I know a few people here in Canada who use North Water adjustable outfitting and are very happy with it.
As far as I know you can order Esquif boats now now with North Water outfitting directly from the factory.
