Which canoe cart is the best for ease of use and durability?

I'm thinking mostly of the take out to the Upper Green. Stan has a homemade one that breaks down which he keeps under his air bag during the run and sets up in about 10 minutes.

I saw some online which range from about $110 - $135. Any suggestions?

Get a polyethylene boat!

I think I lost an inch of height on that last walk out of there so I do understand the interest in one...

I got this one, I really like it. I can break it down into 5 pieces under the airbags. It's plastic, but very solid.

That C-Tug Boat Cart is a nice looking product but at $149.95 it is not cheap.

I built my own with electric conduit tubbing and wheels and copper tubbing bolts nuts and washers
electric conduit tubbing is use for the frame
copper tubing is for bushing for the wheels cut into 1/2 to 2/3 inch length so wheel does not hit the tube
and 12 in wheels cost me about $30 dollar and about an hour worth of time if I were to do it again I would make a jig to drill the hole more straight and in the same place for each tub but it works

Hey JR how about a picture?

I have an Instep CC100
It weighs 17 lbs, sports 16" wheels and easily hauls my Mad River Explorer with a weeks worth of gear on anything resembling a road.
It does not fit in my Outrage.
I'm waiting on an Instep CC450
That is reputed to weigh 9 lbs and have smaller wheels. It should fit in my Outrage.

Top to bottom is 36 inches width is 24 inches you stick the end on the canoe in the square and hook a bungee to one of the thrawts then you pick up the other end and drag it along
The black is insulation tubing so th canoe does not slip

I make my own D-rings too can you tell I am cheap:)

I've got a couple carts that I made for usage at the East Race and my bigger boats that I no longer have. They were made with some extra wheelchair parts from work...removeable wheels/axles so that they could fit in a drybag shoved under an airbag. I'll try and post a couple pics if anyone might be interested in them
