Mohawk Maxim Outfitting Adventure

Post by horizongfx »

Been working on this for 2 days now, Kinda Used the Smerda Saddle as a jumping off point on this One, I'm real happy with the end Result, Enjoy...

For me; boating brings me closer to to something divine, and in a open canoe I'm 8 Inches closer.

Mohawk Maxim outfitting

Post by D-Caption »

Very nice job. Did you make your cuts with a band saw or with hand tools? Did you glue the top section to the saddle or leave it loose so you could put it in the new plastic Maxim? Just wondering what your saddle height in the extrem rear under your butt. Thanks in advance D-Caption

Most of the Cuts were made with a Bandsaw, however some of the More Intricate parts were cut with a handsaw.
At the Extreme Rear the saddle Height is Now 8" it started out 9" but I cut it Down and Flattened it out a bit.
It slopes up forward so it is Higher at The crotch between the Knees.
I saved the Template so when The PE Maxim does happen I can do it all over again.

Ya know for some reason I always thought the handle stood for "Horizon Girl Fox". hahaa. One question, shouldn't that thrust schnozzle point out da back like a jetski insteada out da front like a water fountain boy? Great outfitting job. I want one in PE.

Maybe his foward stroke is better than his back stroke?

Just get you an aluminum arrow and a pipe cutter, works great for drilling clean holes in minicell.
use an air nozzle to remove the Foam plug from the tube after cutting p.s be careful were you aim it when you blow the Plug out !!!
