Looking for a Glass OC1 maker in Ga.

Post by cheajack »

Several years ago (maybe 8) I met a real nice guy paddling the Ocoee in a carbon/kevlar OC1 that he had made (vaccuum bagged and all). He lived in Georgia. If my memory serves me well, I think the boat was a knock off of an Ocoee. It definitely was a very light, very nimble play boat and the guy could really shred. Does anyone know who this might be and how to contact him? Reply to: Jack Shuler. Phone-919-933-9438 or E-mail- cheajack@aol.com

Jack,

Class V makes composite boats and the are not too far from Georgia in Tenessee. Look for the link on the Cboats man page

I think you might have met Victor Barnett - tall guy, sandy hair, maybe a mustache? I sent you an e-mail address for him.

I sure wish they'd flesh out that ClassFive site - it is such a tease, all those links that go nowhere!
