An open invitation to "raven3693".

You have until early August to grab an open boat and get ready. This will give you the chance to see first-hand what people are talking about instead of sitting on the sidelines and making comments. 8)

From C1Dub,
The 2010 ACA Open Canoe Slalom Nationals and North American Championships will take place at Adventure Sports Center International (ASCI) in McHenry, Maryland on August 6-8, 2010.

I love checking in
Never knew i could get such a stir from all the canoeists
All; what, 12 .... lol

Ok i see someone ponied up for your said NATIONALS and i might add
its at an appreciate venue. A dying sport at a dying park ;))
At least that guy who wanted it in PA should be ale to afford gas to get to MD :-)
Well by the looks of the yellow blunt nose one i see here i could throw down a mold around my buddies front lawn flower pot .... its the old style tub with feet. I better not but the seat too far forward or some one will excuse me of copying their idea of cab forward. Na seat right in the middle with a swivel that way bunt at one end and wedged at the other then after a beer or two we can discus which way the seat should face.

Is the Yough running that weekend?

you have a name?

... mighty safe to hide in obscurity, well hid, behind some pointless moniker.

Got that right....but sooner or later the young'ns might step it up. Its a bummer to keep losing to the older guys/girls over and over again!

But maybe the crash and burn mental thing will get "old" for the "younger set"!!! Being stupid and getting hurt really isn't all that KEWL! Just say'n.

I assuming some folks will not show up to race to protect their fragile personas!

Its about having fun!!!! 8)

"Raven", I am not 55 and have extended an invitation to you to join the open canoers for that race up at ASCI. I will even race tandem canoe with you if that helps get yer butt there. Cosmik Debris ran the Green in a tandem open canoe with a kyacker in the bow, I figure you and I can handle the ASCI course. You came on this board and posted your comments. I'm now calling you on your comments. You sound like a "hot" little boater in your own right. Step up and be a man. Get in an open canoe and see if you seriously are a whitewater boater. I will meet you at ASCI and help you if you need it and I don't even need your name--just your presence.

And I am not "pulling your rope".

Ignoring Mr Puerile for a moment - in OC slalom, what's the min height of the bottom of the pole from the water?

15cm or 6". Sometimes we hang 'em higher when the move requires sneaking due to the river flow.
