We haven't seen above 0 (yes, F) in the past few days. Cloud cover did come in last night, so this morning it's a "balmy" -11 ....
Needless to say the Hudson out front is somewhat solid right now....

i think this cold weather thing is getting a little bit old in new england! we are all turning into Eskimos, people aren't even bothering with jackets when it's above 20! at 30 I might just break out my millbrook boats tee-shirt.
what are the lowest temps people have paddled in?
for me it's about 9 degrees, but my friends just went out yesterday at zero! good thing i had an "excuse" . . .

Brrrr
I went yesterday at 4pm and it was about 28 F (ABOVE zero), our high yesterday of 55 was at 1am... Water temp was 48F. While I should have gone on Saturday (high of 67), I can't do today - the roads are all iced up today!
I was talking to a transplant from Maine whose response to his relatives when they ask how he could possibly move away is "I've got sense!"
