Okay, this looks really interesting.

But, I'm also a little confused about it. Could you explain a little more about the backband in the photo, and about foams 3 & 4?

Foam blocks- 3- it is simply a dashboard with two holes for ur knees. Check this out- http://www.openplayboater.co.uk/c1_outf ... part_2.htm
The trick is that in my outfitting this block is not glued. When you re in the boat the dashboard 3 is jammed between your thighs by the block 4. This allows you to get into the boat comfortably and still get a superb fit and power transmission.
What helps a lot as well are the snowboard bindings coming from behind my hips and not from the sides.
