ha! that picture of Bert Hinkley made me think of a quote by him that is appropriate for this forum.

so Bert and Josh (two top-notch kayak racers) we're racing C-2 together at Covered Bridge last year. I noticed this and paddled over to taunt them, naturally, because I was also racing c-2 in their class. Bert was paddling stern left if I recall, and so I started joshing him, saying how it was a "stern right" course.

So Bert fires back, "Well, I'm equally bad on either side!" and some open boater yells over, "Spoken like a true kayaker!"
