Bob, I found your "in phases" photo set very helpful. This bulkhead thing just seems like too many details and dimensions for a human to handle, but seeing it broken down into parts helps alot.
Craig, as usual some very good tips there. Very good idea about taking winter/summer into account. I'm actually looking forward to being able to just jump in and out of my boat without dealing with straps. Straps is all I've known though so far, and hence the resistance.
Chris, thanks also for the helpful pics. I see a few things in there I'm going to steal. That saddle looks really comfy. Hope to see you on some natural flow soon.
