Check this out, a new gadget from EJ:

Now picture similar replacing your minicell bulkead in your C-1. Hop in it in the summertime and inflate a lot to fit - in the winter, over a dry suit and layers, inflate it not so much. In an OC-1 you'd need something to restrain it on the top, maybe fit inside a very wide open bulkhead and use the "bladders" to fill it out.

I've a sort of adjustable bulkhead in one of my boats using a floating block and some strapping (early version:http://bookwoman.net/scott/pix/buckle_in_boat.jpg). This could be more like a "Nike Pump Cockpit". Anybody else see it?

That could work. I'd like to get my hands on one to play with.

I wonder how rigid those are when they're inflated, because I sure as hades dont' want to have to wait for a bag to deflate if I have to get out of my boat in a hurry
